Check Your Carbon Monoxide Detectors Regularly

Real Property Management coast in Orange County is reminding all owners and tenants to check their CO detectors.  In closed environments, the concentration of carbon monoxide can easily rise to lethal levels.  On average, 170 people in the United States die every year from carbon monoxide produced by non-automotive consumer products. Carbon Monoxide poisoning can be avoided by purchasing new carbon monoxide detectors every 5 years or according to its manufacturers recommendations. RPM recommends all owners and tenants to test their Carbon Monoxide detectors periodically every 4-5 months. As a service to our clients, we periodically inspect our units and check for working carbon monoxide detectors. It’s an added peace of mind that we believe goes a long way.
